PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thatcher Halverson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Ashton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ashton's choice of entrance music: Zombie Nation. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Ashton working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Ashton creates some space for himself and unloads with a monster right hand! That one landed with a sickening thud - Halverson is out cold and this one is all over! Ashton climbs onto the cage to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.

Eric Ashton was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
