Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lenard Baldwin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Coshak!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coshak clinches with his opponent.

Baldwin pulls guard successfully.
Baldwin can't keep his opponent in guard - Coshak advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Baldwin slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Baldwin throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Coshak looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Coshak throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Baldwin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baldwin looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Coshak is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baldwin is trying to control the position but Coshak postures up.
Coshak working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Coshak is in close to Baldwin's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Baldwin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Coshak cracks Baldwin with a solid left hand.
Baldwin trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Coshak stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Baldwin gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Coshak gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Baldwin regains guard.
Baldwin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Baldwin throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Baldwin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Baldwin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Coshak on the ground.
Coshak throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Baldwin lands a decent punch to the body there.
Coshak postures up.
Coshak is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Baldwin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Coshak wants to control from the top but Baldwin keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Baldwin wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Coshak is now in half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Coshak lands a nice short elbow.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Coshak prevents Baldwin from improving his position.
Baldwin blocking the ground and pound attempt from Coshak.

Coshak is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Baldwin sees it coming and defends easily.
Baldwin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Coshak is working away from the top position though.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Baldwin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Coshak not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Coshak seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Baldwin is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
