The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes tries to clinch but Ysengrin is having none of it.
Ysengrin scores with a kick to the midsection.

Ysengrin throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Ysengrin stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Holmes looks winded!
Ysengrin lands a body punch.

Ysengrin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ysengrin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Ysengrin lunges at Holmes with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Holmes's hand.
Ysengrin lands a big right hook! Holmes looks hurt but is still standing! Ysengrin lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Holmes falls down and Ysengrin dives in with a huge hammer fist! Holmes's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Ysengrin runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

A relieved looking Dave Ysengrin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
