The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gutzeit shoots in and gets a takedown into Lugz's guard.
Gutzeit throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lugz works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Gutzeit cracks Lugz with a solid left hand.
Gutzeit has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lugz is proving hard to escape from.
Gutzeit is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Gutzeit stands and throws Lugz's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Gutzeit has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Lugz is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gutzeit is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Lugz looks calm but he's in trouble here. Gutzeit gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Lugz is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Gutzeit lets go of the hold and Lugz can pop his arm back in it's socket.
