Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blake Blazing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armani Cabrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Blake Blazing!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Armani Cabrera!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blazing moves forwards but Cabrera connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Cabrera has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Blazing is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Blazing drops his hands momentarily and Cabrera takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Cabrera loads up on a big right hand but Blazing slips the punch.
Blazing circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cabrera slips a jab and a cross from Blazing.
Blazing swats away the attempt to clinch by Cabrera.
Cabrera swings for the body but Blazing moves out of range.
Nice shot lands for Blazing.


It looks like Armani Cabrera has been cut.
Cabrera scores with a hook to the body. Blazing takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Blazing lands a nice shot to the body.
Blazing throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cabrera moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Blazing throws a looping overhand right but Cabrera ducks down to avoid it.
We've been told by Blazing's head coaches at Demon's Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Blazing lands with a good body shot.
Cabrera goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Cabrera connects with a high kick.
Cabrera is looking to slow Blazing down with leg kicks.
Cabrera looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Blazing takes a swing at Cabrera's ribcage but misses.
Blazing misses with a body shot.
Cabrera looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Cabrera on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Blazing misses with a two punch combination.
Cabrera throws a front kick that sends Blazing stumbling back into the cage.
Cabrera staying out of range there.
A shot to the body from Cabrera misses
and Blazing counters with a left and a right that stings Cabrera.
Cabrera throws a series of strikes that have Blazing backpedaling.
Cabrera scores with a one two! Blazing had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cabrera avoids the body shot from Blazing.
Cabrera avoids the head kick by Blazing.
Blazing throws a combination. Cabrera tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Blazing misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Cabrera counters with an outside leg kick.

Cabrera drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Cabrera stands up and beckons Blazing to his feet.
Blazing is looking to wear down Cabrera with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Blazing throws a right and a left that Cabrera avoids nicely.
Cabrera smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Blazing takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
No joy there for Blazing, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cabrera throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A counter left hand to the body from Blazing misses its target.
Cabrera scores with a kick to the body.
A shot to the liver by Cabrera. Beautiful body shot.
Cabrera doesn't manage to clinch there - Blazing circles away.
Blazing takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A head kick from Cabrera lands but Blazing takes it in his stride.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sloppy strikes from Cabrera. Those never looked like landing.
Cabrera throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Blazing on the side of the head.
Cabrera scores with a kick to the midsection.
Blazing on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Blazing swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Blazing looks to land a combination but Cabrera avoids it well.
Blazing ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cabrera moves away.
Despite the aggression on Cabrera's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Armani Cabrera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cabrera lands the left hand.
Blazing bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cabrera's head backwards.
Cabrera misses with a head kick.
Blazing digs a good hook to Cabrera's body.
Cabrera lands with a kick to the temple. Blazing shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cabrera connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.


Blazing is rocked!
Cabrera cracks Blazing with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Blazing tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Cabrera pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Blazing is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Armani Cabrera!
A very excited looking Armani Cabrera made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
