Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Calypso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimentiy Boykin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calypso's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Jedi Mind Tricks - Genghis Khan . Boykin has chosen Пересмотри as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Calypso!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 30 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dimentiy Boykin!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Boykin.
Boykin feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Calypsos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Boykin steps into range and cracks Calypso with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Calypso flops backwards and Boykin dives into his guard looking to finish!


Calypso is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boykin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Calypso works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Oh Calypso is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Calypso working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Boykin has passed into half guard!
Calypso seems to have got his legs back now.
Calypso is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Boykin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Boykin's back!
Boykin tries to break free.

Calypso tightening his grip on Boykin, looking for the choke.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Calypso has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Boykin.
Boykin looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Boykin is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Calypso punches Boykin on the ear.
Calypso is working the ground and pound. Can Boykin escape?

Calypso is looking for the choke from the back position but Boykin is controlling his hands well.
Boykin rolls, trying to escape but Calypso keeps control of the position.
Boykin is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Calypso doesn't have the hooks in and Boykin manages to turn into his guard.

Calypso working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Boykin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Boykin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Boykin wants to control from the top but Calypso keeps moving.
Boykin lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Calypso wants to control but Boykin passes easily into half guard.

Boykin is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Calypso has managed to free his arm - good work.
Calypso is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Boykin landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Calypso has hold of Boykin's hands but Boykin slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Boykin not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Calypso is looking for a sweep. Boykin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Boykin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Calypso is just riding it out for now. Boykin eventually gives up the hold.
Boykin lands with a punch from half guard.

Boykin is looking for a kimura here.

Calypso is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Calypso is defending against the submission attempts here by Boykin.
Boykin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Calypso keeps working.
Calypso moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Calypso bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Boykin's guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dimentiy Boykin dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Boykin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Boykin wants it to stay on the feet.
Boykin is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Calypso connects with a looping right hand.
Boykin takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Calypso moves out of range of the strikes.

Boykin rushes Calypso and presses him up against the cage.
Boykin is struggling to control the position.
Boykin scores with a shot to the side of Calypso's head.
Boykin lands with a short shot to the head.


It looks like Jack Calypso has been cut.
Still in the clinch, Boykin scores with a nice short uppercut.
Calypso has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Boykin avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boykin gets underhooks to prevent Calypso's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Calypso. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Boykin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Boykin steps into range and cracks Calypso with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Calypso flops backwards and Boykin dives into his guard looking to finish!
Calypso seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Boykin drops back, looking for a kneebar! Calypso looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Calypso looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Calypso!
Calypso works to advance to full mount. Boykin defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Calypso trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Calypso will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Boykin tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Boykin has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Boykin wants to control but Calypso is having none of it.
Boykin is wriggling around trying to escape.
Jack Calypso overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Calypso can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Boykin is looking to escape.
Calypso wants to control but Boykin has made it back to half guard. Nice work.
Calypso winds up and cracks Boykin with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The fighters are battling for position here. Boykin manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Calypso stands and throws Boykin's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Calypso tries to score with some ground and pound. Boykin controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Calypso cracks Boykin with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Boykin really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Calypso can't control as he wanted to and Boykin manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

Boykin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Calypso pulls his head out easily.
Calypso is looking to take a break and control but Boykin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Boykin is in trouble now - Calypso has advanced to mount!

Calypso lands with some strikes.
Boykin keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Calypso softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Boykin is out cold! Calypso jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Calypso!
