Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Basilone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Agent Orange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orange is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Agent Orange. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Basilone gets a double leg takedown into Orange's guard.
Orange not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Basilone cracks Orange with a solid left hand.
Orange utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Orange avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Orange had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Basilone defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Orange has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Basilone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Orange working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Basilone doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Basilone manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Orange has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Basilone is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Orange.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Basilone lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Orange gets back to half guard.

Basilone is just content to waste time from the top position. Orange takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Basilone is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Basilone avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Basilone is on top in guard.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Orange enables Basilone to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Orange manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Basilone wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Nice defenses there by Orange.
A little jabbing left from Orange on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Basilone is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Orange can do to turn this around?

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
