Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshi Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yoshi Suzuki!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King darts in and clinches Suzuki up against the cage.
King gets underhooks to prevent Suzuki's takedown attempt.
King works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
King lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Suzuki backwards.
King wants a takedown but no success here.
King is trying to drag Suzuki to the mat but Suzuki just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
King lands a left hand that snaps the head of Suzuki backwards.
Suzuki changes levels and goes for a takedown here. King fights it off and pushes away nicely.
King tries to bum rush Suzuki with a series of wild strikes but Suzuki uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
King misses with a few strikes there.
King misses with a few strikes there.

Suzuki shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Suzuki was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
King knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Suzuki on the ground.
King struggling a bit here.
Suzuki lands an elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
King lands with an elbow strike from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Suzuki is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but King is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Suzuki tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
King parries the strikes from Suzuki easily there. Suzuki is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable King to escape.
King is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Suzuki is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down King's shoulder. That is not cool.
King is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Suzuki asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Suzuki is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. King is trying to escape and Suzuki transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and King is forced to tap! Nice work there by Suzuki! Very nice indeed!
