Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Holohan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Jawo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holohan comes to the cage accompanied by Come out and Fight. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Junior Jawo!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jawo looking to score a takedown here. Holohan is defending well but Jawo drives through and ends up in Holohan's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Holohan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jawo defends it easily.
Jawo wants to control from the top but Holohan keeps moving.
Holohan keeping full guard, as Jawo tries to pass.

Holohan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jawo defends well.

Holohan has his foot on Jawo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jawo works his way back into a safe position though.

Holohan is defending against the submission attempts here by Jawo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jawo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Holohan is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Junior Jawo took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
