The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pappas misses with a double jab.
Pappas has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Pappas rushes Brown and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Brown goes for a takedown attempt but Pappas pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Brown shoots in but Pappas avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Pappas clinches up with Brown and pushes him back against the cage.
Brown lands with a light punch inside.
Pappas looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Pappas tries to break free but Brown pushes him back against the cage.

Brown jumps into guard, dragging Pappas to the mat.
Brown can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pappas controls the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Pappas counters with a left right combination that sends Brown crashing to the mat - Pappas wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Brown out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
