Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ekong Bell!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Aldo Pitbull!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bell misses with a body kick.
The crowd cheers as Pitbull lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bell doesn't seem phased though.
A slapping leg kick lands for Bell.
Bell throws out a leg kick but Pitbull moves out of range and Bell only half commits.
Bell lands a nice looking body kick.
Bell fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pitbull has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Bell throws a leg kick that is checked
and Pitbull counters with a nice uppercut.
Bell throws a head kick that misses.
A little jabbing left from Pitbull on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
A swing and a miss from Pitbull.
Pitbull is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ekong Bell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pitbull on the wrong end of a nice jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bell fakes the leg kick and cracks Pitbull in the body.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bell lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Pitbull has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Pitbull and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Pitbull flicks out a counter leg kick but Bell steps away.
Bell moves into range and connects with a jab.

Bell has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Team Alpha Male in the buildup to the fight.
Bell throws a low kick but it's checked well by Pitbull.
Pitbull misses with an uppercut. Bell saw that one coming.
Pitbull uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bell.
Pitbull appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Bell keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Pitbull has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Pitbull tries to throw a body punch but Bell avoids it by throwing Pitbull back against the cage.

Bell pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

A little jabbing left from Pitbull on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Bell lets loose with a powerful body kick. Pitbull will feel that in the morning.

Bell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Some bone on bone action there as Pitbull checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pitbull is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bell had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Pitbull throws the left hand but Bell avoids the punch easily.
It appears Bell was looking to counter with a kick there.
Pitbull fails to land with a series of punches.
Pitbull dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bell. That did some damage!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Both fighters circling a little - Bell finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ekong Bell dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Bell keeps Pitbull at a distance using the push kick.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Pitbull in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Bell cracks Pitbull with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

A bone on bone clash there as Pitbull blocks the leg kick.
Pitbull tries a quick counter leg kick but Bell is wise to it.

Bell gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Pitbull cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pitbull's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Bell motions for Pitbull to come forward. Bell throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bell swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Bell turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Pitbull throws a body punch but Bell moves out of range.
Bell looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Bell throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bell shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.


Bell is rocked!
Bell looks to land a body kick but Pitbull moved away.
Oh Bell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bell thows a leg kick but Pitbull checks it
and Pitbull counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Aldo Pitbull! Aldo Pitbull retains his middleweight title!
