The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Graves lands a left and a right that send Duncan crashing to the mat, dazed. Graves thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Lester Duncan has been cut.

Graves drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Graves has gone for a leg lock! Duncan slips out almost immediately though and dives into Graves's guard.
Graves wants to get back to his feet but Duncan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Graves pulls Duncan in close to prevent any damage.
Duncan trying to control but Graves is working from the bottom.

Duncan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Graves is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Duncan stops Graves from standing up.
Duncan tries to free his leg and advance position but Graves is retaining full guard.
Duncan is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Duncan is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Graves scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Graves closes the distance and pushes Duncan back into the cage.

Graves escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Graves lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Duncan at a distance.

Graves gets a takedown into half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Graves is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Duncan defends it well.
Graves working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
