The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Lincoln darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Leblanc really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lincoln tries to clinch but Leblanc moves away
and Leblanc cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Donk. Lincoln catches Leblanc right on the button with a cross.
Leblanc takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Lincoln misses with a jab, cross combination.

Lincoln instigates a clinch.

Leblanc pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Leblanc takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Lincoln goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Lincoln fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Leblanc moves out of range of the body kick from Lincoln.

Lincoln lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Leblanc circles away quickly and effectively.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Leblanc is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Lincoln frees his head nicely. Oh but Leblanc has switched to an armbar! Lincoln is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
