The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fielders goes for a double leg but Smith avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Smith continues to drive forward.
Fielders misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Smith throws a series of punches but Fielders avoids them all with ease.
Fielders looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Fielders. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fielders with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Smith to score with a decent uppercut.

A slow jab from Smith misses its intended target.
Fielders tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Smith defends well and Fielders ends up having to push Smith into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Smith looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Eldar Smith is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Fielders is breathing heavily.
Fielders throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Smith lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Smith throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Smith thuds a left hand into Fielders's body.
Smith feints a jab promting Fielders to slip. Smith then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Fielders slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Smith cracks Fielders with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Fielders looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Smith finish him?

Fielders is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Oh Fielders is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Smith drops Fielders with a naaaaasty hook - Fielders is in real trouble here! Smith dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
