Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Valentin Padilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitry Milevsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Valentin Padilla!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dmitry Milevsky!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Milevsky forces Padilla back against the cage and clinches.

Milevsky decides to pull guard.
Padilla keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Milevsky's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Padilla trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Padilla's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Padilla throws a big right hand that misses.
Milevsky controlling the position.
Milevsky's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Milevsky wants to get back to his feet but Padilla is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Padilla accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Padilla could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Milevsky is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Milevsky is pulling down on Padilla's head. It's preventing any offense from Padilla, at least for the moment.

Padilla with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Milevsky is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Padilla is aware though and is defending well.
Padilla postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Milevsky can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Milevsky feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Padilla throws a strike but Milevsky rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Milevsky is fighting to break Padilla's control of his arms but Padilla is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Padilla is trying to keep Milevsky in close.
Milevsky wants to get up but he can't break Padilla's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Milevsky is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Padilla tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Milevsky manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Milevsky is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Milevsky tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Padilla throws a strike but Milevsky rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Milevsky would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Milevsky has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Padilla uses from the top position.

Milevsky bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Padilla's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Milevsky manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Padilla on his heels. He'll look to pass Padilla's guard now, I'm sure.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Padilla manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Milevsky takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Padilla tries to throw a body punch but Milevsky avoids it by throwing Padilla back against the cage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Milevsky jumps guard and drags Padilla to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Milevsky takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Milevsky has Padilla pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Milevsky pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Padilla tumbling to the mat - Milevsky dives into Padilla's guard.

Padilla has his feet on Milevsky's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

I would just about give that final round to Dmitry Milevsky.
I think Milevsky has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
