The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamond throws an overhand right that lands on Akulenko's shoulder, as Akulenko tries to avoid the shot.
Akulenko is looking for a counter combo.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Akulenko.
Lamond's jab looks to have found its range, popping Akulenko under the eye.
Eugeniy Akulenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oooooh!!! Lamond has knocked Akulenko down with a huge combo! Lamond steps away and waves a wobbly Akulenko back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Lamond drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Akulenko right on the button. Akulenko goes down! Lamond follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Lamond gets the win via TKO!
