Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taw DawTang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Pavlovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DawTang's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Imperial March. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Taw DawTang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anton Pavlovich!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DawTang tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Pavlovich counters with a nice uppercut.
DawTang will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pavlovich lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Pavlovich scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Pavlovich swinging wildly here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
DawTang uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pavlovich.
DawTang connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pavlovich's hands.
Pavlovich throws a lazy right hand but DawTang sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pavlovich misses with the combination.

DawTang scores with a hook to the body. Pavlovich takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
DawTang looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
DawTang connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pavlovich's hands.

DawTang looks to land a left hand but Pavlovich moved out of range nicely.
DawTang jabs Pavlovich right on the nose. Pavlovich blinks but takes it well.
Taw DawTang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed right hand from DawTang misses the target.
Pavlovich misses the shot to the body.
DawTang throws a hook to the side of Pavlovich's head but Pavlovich sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pavlovich appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Anton Pavlovich is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Pavlovich throws a hook but DawTang blocks it.

DawTang tries to break free but Pavlovich pushes him back against the cage.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Pavlovich.

DawTang lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
DawTang is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Pavlovich is working to get back to half guard.
DawTang looking to control and managing it successfully.
DawTang misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

DawTang punching from mount but Pavlovich doing a good job of avoiding damage.
DawTang tries to control but Pavlovich wriggling away.
Pavlovich tries to hold on but DawTang postures up.
Pavlovich is squirming around, avoiding DawTang's attempts to control the action.
DawTang pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Pavlovich wants to control but DawTang is having none of it.
DawTang trying to control but Pavlovich is having none of it.
Pavlovich really doesn't want to stay on the ground with DawTang. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

DawTang is working for a guillotine from mount but Pavlovich frees his head quite easily.

Pavlovich is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Pavlovich is squirming around, avoiding DawTang's attempts to control the action.
Pavlovich wants to try and get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A punch lands to the side of Pavlovich 's head but he takes it in his stride.
DawTang lands a really nice looking cross but Pavlovich seems unphased.
DawTang closes the distance but Pavlovich moves to the side
and Pavlovich makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
DawTang lands with a hook. Pavlovich tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Pavlovich looks to throw the jab but DawTang is out of range.

Pavlovich swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

and Pavlovich counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Pavlovich throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent DawTang stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

DawTang uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pavlovich.
Pavlovich is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by DawTang.
DawTang swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A little jabbing left from Pavlovich on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
DawTang fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Pavlovich smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Nice straight punches there by DawTang. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of DawTang.
DawTang throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pavlovich cracks DawTang with a right hand to the side of the head.
DawTang misses with a left hand
and Pavlovich cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
DawTang slips under a jab.
DawTang changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Pavlovich connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

DawTang buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
DawTang loads up on a big right hand but Pavlovich slips the punch.
DawTang throws a poor cross that misses
and Pavlovich counters with a nice uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
DawTang bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pavlovich's head backwards.
DawTang is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
DawTang rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Pavlovich counter with a right hand.
DawTang throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Pavlovich counters with a straight right hand.
DawTang throws a lazy uppercut

and Pavlovich counters with a crisp right hand that drops DawTang! Pavlovich lets DawTang back up to his feet, looking for a finish!


DawTang is rocked!
Pavlovich will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Oh DawTang is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
DawTang throws an off balance right hand
enabling Pavlovich to counter with a crisp jab.
DawTang seems to have got his legs back now.
DawTang looks to land a right hand but Pavlovich moved out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
DawTang throws a lazy right hand but Pavlovich sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pavlovich stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anton Pavlovich showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Pavlovich drops DawTang with a straight right hand, right on the button! Pavlovich follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
