The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kearney throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Malaki to counter with a crisp jab.
Malaki throws the left hand but Kearney avoids the punch easily.
Malaki moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Malaki throws a body punch but Kearney moves out of range.
Kearney throws a lazy right hand but Malaki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kearney is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kearney shoots in for a takedown but Malaki shows good takedown defense.
Malaki swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Malaki throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kearney stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Malaki scores with a sloppy right hand. Kearney should have avoided that one.
Kearney throws a right hand that Malaki ducks under and follows up with a left that Malaki also avoids with ease.

Kearney shoots in but Malaki avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Kearney rushes Malaki and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kearney lands an uppercut.
Nice body punch from Kearney - that landed with a thud.
Malaki fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Malaki breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Malaki lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Malaki scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kearney in his tracks.
Malaki just misses with a punch to the body.
Kearney tries to clinch there but Malaki circles away.
Malaki lands a nice looking body shot.
Kearney on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Malaki. Malaki obviously looking to wear him down.
Kearney throws a predictable looking body shot
and Malaki counters with a straight right hand.
Kearney connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Kearney moves out of range of the strikes.
Malaki throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kearney shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Malaki sprawls well. Malaki wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kearney gets slowly back to his feet.
Yancy Malaki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brogan Kearney.
Malaki connects with the punch.

A telegraphed right hand from Kearney misses the target.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Malaki takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Malaki scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Kearney is rocked!
Yancy Malaki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kearney switches off momentarily and Malaki cracks him with a monster right hand! Kearney topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Malaki dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Malaki!
