The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sednev fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Slater to the ground. Sednev is now in Slater's guard.

Slater moves in looking to clinch but Sednev pushes him off.
Sednev appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sednev.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Slater postures up and lands a big shot to Sednev's brow.
Slater is fighting to break Sednev's control of his arms but Sednev is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Sednev is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Sednev takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Well Sednev has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
