Silence has chosen Get Ur Freak On as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Devon Paul has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Silence instigates a clinch.
Silence prevents the takedown attempt.
Silence turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Silence manages to end up in side control.
Silence prevents Paul from escaping the position.
Silence creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Silence lands a few punches from side control.
Silence landing a few strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silence scores with a couple of short elbows.
Silence is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Paul manages to work his way to half guard, despite Silence's best efforts.
Silence is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Oh Paul is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Paul tries to get to full guard but Silence has control of the leg.
Silence keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Paul really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Silence is looking for a kimura but Paul is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Silence to get the leverage.
Silence scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silence scores with a big shot! Paul's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Paul! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimmy Silence!
Post fight, Jimmy Silence stared into the camera and said 'F*ck that guy. Yea I said it... He wasn't sh*t then, he ain't sh*t now!'.
