Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ben Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cris Cyborg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ben Clarke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cris Cyborg!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarke closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Clarke on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Clarke tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Cyborg counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Cyborg lands with an overhand left.
Nice cross by Cyborg.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Cyborg enables Clarke to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cyborg manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Cyborg has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad MMA Las Vegas. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Clarke is looking to stand up but Cyborg won't let him.

Clarke thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Clarke wants to stand but Cyborg is controlling his posture from full guard.
Cyborg has control of Clarke's left arm, preventing Clarke from doing any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Clarke wants to pass the guard but Cyborg is keeping the position.

Clarke drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Clarke jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Clarke has his takedown stuffed
and Cyborg connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Cyborg connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Clarke doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Ben Clarke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clarke closes the distance and clinches up with Cyborg, looking for a takedown. Clarke pushes Cyborg against the cage but Cyborg circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Clarke. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cyborg fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Cris Cyborg is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cyborg clobbers Clarke with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Clarke is rocked!
Clarke is breathing heavily.
Cyborg digs a good body shot into Clarke's ribs.
Clarke has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cyborg finds it's way round the side to connect with Clarke's head.
Oh Clarke is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cyborg is stalking Clarke. Clarke circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Cyborg, and it's lights out! Clarke really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cris Cyborg!
