Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chief Tappenahomma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chiku Maneno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tappenahomma kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Tatanka. Chief Tappenahomma had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

With a record of 9 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Chief Tappenahomma!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chiku Maneno!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Maneno. Beautiful body shot.
Maneno ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tappenahomma moves away.
Tappenahomma throws a big counter combination but Maneno scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Maneno has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tappenahomma.
Tappenahomma steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Maneno.
Maneno has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Maneno there as he acknowledges the shot.
A jab from Tappenahomma finds it's way through Maneno's defenses.
Tappenahomma cracks the inside of Maneno's front leg.
Maneno ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tappenahomma moves away.
Maneno chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tappenahomma can pounce on him.
Tappenahomma looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Maneno cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Maneno throws the left hand but Tappenahomma avoids the punch easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Maneno, as that shot connected.

and Tappenahomma counters with a right hand to the body.
Maneno throws an overhand right that lands on Tappenahomma's shoulder, as Tappenahomma tries to avoid the shot.

Maneno takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Maneno scores with a punch to the head.
Maneno lands a nice shot to the body.
Maneno ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tappenahomma moves away.
Tappenahomma misses with a wild body shot.
Maneno swings for the body but Tappenahomma moves out of range.
Tappenahomma throws a jab but it's blocked by Maneno.
Tappenahomma works the jab nicely.
Maneno tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tappenahomma was well out of range. Poor timing from Maneno.
