With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel Brown!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Gaultier.
A clash of legs there as Gaultier blocks the low kick.
Jab, jab by Gaultier - just one landing.
Gaultier lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Brown is rocked!
Brown tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gaultier was well out of range. Poor timing from Brown.
Gaultier staying out of range there.
Brown has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Brown is looking to score with low kicks.

Brown feints and then cracks Gaultier's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gaultier down.

Daniel Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gaultier's calf.

Gaultier feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Browns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Brown avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Gaultier drops his hands momentarily and Brown takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Gaultier stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gaultier wants it to stay on the feet.

Brown throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Gaultier sends Brown crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Gaultier is motioning to the referee to let Brown up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Brown is still on wobbly legs! Can Gaultier finish him?
Gaultier swings for the body but Brown moves out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Gaultier counters with a nice right hand that sends Brown toppling to the canvas! Brown scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Gaultier finish him?!
Brown throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gaultier on the side of the head.

and Gaultier scores with a counter punch that sends Brown to the canvas! Gaultier smells blood - he's punishing Brown with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Brown has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
