Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Ring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Fayth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremy Ring!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ray Fayth!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Ring.
Ring tries to clinch but Fayth moves out of range.
Fayth blocks the body kick.
Ring misses with an attempted mid kick.
That kick from Ring tenderised Fayth's leg. Fayth is trying to keep his angry face on.
Ring tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A little jabbing left from Fayth on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Fayth clobbers Ring with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Ring throws the kick towards the body but Fayth avoids it.
Ring will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Fayth throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ring was covering up waiting for the punch and Fayth finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ring pushes Fayth off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Fayth drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Ring defends it well.

Fayth swings around for an armbar but Ring sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Fayth's guard.
Fayth pulls Ring in close to prevent any damage.
Ring wanted to stand there but Fayth had control of the position.

Fayth wants to sweep but no luck.

Ring avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fayth is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ring defends well.

Ring decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fayth throws an overhand right that lands on Ring's shoulder, as Ring tries to avoid the shot.

Ring looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Fayth displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ring throws out the jab.
Ring ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

The fighters circling - Fayth throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ring pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Fayth is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Ring is staying active underneath Fayth, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Ray Fayth has been cut.

Ring drops his hands momentarily and Fayth takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Fayth working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Ring's thigh. Ring counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Ring working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fayth doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fayth manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ray Fayth comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Fayth has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
