Stehling comes to the cage accompanied by Turmion Kätilöt - Minä MÄÄRÄÄN!. Malone has chosen Get Ready For This as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tio Malone!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malone takes a kick to the side of the head.
Stehling throws the left hand but Malone avoids the punch easily.
Malone tries to counter by closing the distance.
Malone darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Malone on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Stehling walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Stehling checks a leg kick.
Malone looks for the body kick but Stehling saw that one coming.
Stehling throws a series of punches but Malone moves out of range.

Stehling cracks Malone with a big right hand and Malone goes down!


Malone is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Malone wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Stehling showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Stehling being controlled here momentarily.
Malone is continuing to stall.
Stehling missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Stehling lands a couple of digs.
Stehling is in close to Malone's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Stehling stops Malone from standing up.
Malone is looking to sweep but instead, Stehling has passed into half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Malone pushes Stehling off looking to stand but Stehling dives back in and keeps control.
Stehling landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Malone is trying to get back to full guard.
Malone wants to control but Stehling is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Malone keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Stehling lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Malone is still in real trouble! Can Stehling finish him?
Stehling keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Malone seems to have recovered his senses.
Malone keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Malone is positioning himself well to prevent Stehling advancing to mount.
Stehling sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Malone defending well though.

Stehling passes into side control, despite Malone's attempt to control the position.
Malone wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Malone is not content to let Stehling control the position.
Malone on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Malone is trying to get back to half guard.
Stehling throws an elbow but Malone slips to the side and avoids it well.
Malone defending against the ground and pound.
Malone is trying to get back to his feet.
Malone sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Malone is staying active underneath Stehling, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Malone keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Stehling has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Malone preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Malone is not content to let Stehling control the position.
Malone wants to control but Stehling is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Malone tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Stehling manages to move to mount!
Malone tries to reverse the position but Stehling maintains control.
Malone tries to hold on but Stehling postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stehling throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Malone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stehling circles away quickly and effectively.
Good work by Stehling as he checks the leg kick.
Stehling tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Malone defends well and Stehling ends up having to push Malone into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Mitchell Stehling is winning the standup battle so far.
Malone throws a right hand that Stehling ducks under and follows up with a left that Stehling also avoids with ease.
Malone misses the shot to the body.
Stehling lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Stehling throws a jab when Malone was well out of range.
Malone wants to counter the offense by Stehling and move into the clinch position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Malone lands with an uppercut that bounces Stehling off the cage and back into range.
Stehling swings widly with a right hand
and Malone counters with a nice leg kick.
Malone takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Malone fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stehling wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
BOOM! Stehling lands a beautiful left hook that drops Malone. Malone tries to recover but Stehling is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Malone lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mitchell Stehling!
An out of breath Mitchell Stehling thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
