The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overstreet buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Morgan jabs at Overstreet's body.
Overstreet lands an overhand right.
Overstreet clobbers Morgan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Morgan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Morgan throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Overstreet chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Overstreet loads up on a big right hand but Morgan slips the punch.
Overstreet throws a leg kick but Morgan moved away.
Morgan throws a big counter combination but Overstreet scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Overstreet takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Morgan lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Overstreet stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Morgan.
Morgan tries to work over Overstreet's front leg with a kick but Overstreet checks it.

Morgan misses with a straight left.
Overstreet keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Overstreet raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Overstreet throws a sloppy head kick and Morgan moves out of range easily.

Morgan connects with a leg kick. Overstreet looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Morgan throws a looping overhand right but Overstreet ducks down to avoid it.
Overstreet misses with a lunging right hand
and Morgan counters with a nice uppercut.
Morgan throws a nice outside leg kick.
Morgan works Overstreet's body with a nice hook.
Overstreet fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Overstreet has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Morgan takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
We've been hearing reports that Morgan has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

and Overstreet counters with a good low kick that Morgan was not able to check.
Overstreet has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Morgan is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Overstreet frees his head nicely. Oh but Morgan has switched to an armbar! Overstreet is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
