The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slevin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gracie's guard.

Gracie scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Gracie tries for a takedown but Slevin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Slevin gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Slevin wants to get back to striking at distance but Gracie won't allow it.
Slevin tries to score a body lock takedown but Gracie shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Slevin wants to break the clinch but can't.
Slevin wants to break free but Gracie has control.

Slevin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Slevin lands a takedown into guard.

Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Slevin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Slevin wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Gracie's closed guard. He's half up but Gracie has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Gracie pivots and extends the arm, Slevin falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Gracie! Well done that man!
