Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 50 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Afro Samurai!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longshanks throws a right and a left that Samurai avoids nicely.
Longshanks throws a series of punches but Samurai avoids them all with ease.
It seemed like Samurai was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Samurai misses with a straight left.
Claymore Longshanks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Samurai tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Longshanks was well out of range. Poor timing from Samurai.
Longshanks throws a combination. Samurai tries to block but a couple of punches get through.


It looks like Afro Samurai has been cut.
Samurai misses with a looping left.
Longshanks swings for the body but Samurai moves out of range.
Samurai throws out a counter right but Longshanks avoids it with no problem.
Samurai uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Samurai dips to his left and cracks Longshanks with an uppercut!


It looks like Claymore Longshanks has been cut.
Samurai scores with the left hand. Longshanks knows he should have avoided that one.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Samurai connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

and Longshanks counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Samurai thinking.
Longshanks moves away from the strike by Samurai.
It looked like Longshanks was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Longshanks connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
A lazy body kick from Samurai
and Longshanks counters with a nice uppercut.
Longshanks throws a hook to the side of Samurai's head but Samurai sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Samurai slips under a jab from Longshanks.
Longshanks misses with the combination.
Samurai throws a shot from downtown. Longshanks moves away and avoids it.
And Longshanks counters with a quick kick to the body but Samurai blocks it.
Samurai misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Longshanks is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Longshanks getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Samurai tries to land a front kick but Longshanks steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Longshanks takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Longshanks feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Samurai throws a jab but it's blocked by Longshanks.
Longshanks bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Samurai looks winded!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
OH! Samurai has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Longshanks smells blood and charges in for the finish! Longshanks unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Samurai sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Claymore Longshanks!
Claymore Longshanks spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
