The incomparable musical genius that is Takashi Sorimachi - Poison . Onizuka Stresemann has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Roberts and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ericsson chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A right-left combo lands from Stresemann.
A big left from Stresemann misses.
Stresemann lands with a nice body punch.
Ericsson misses with a head kick.
Stresemann lands a nice looking body shot.
Ericsson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stresemann.
Ericsson stalks Stresemann and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Stresemann's face. Stresemann staggers backwards, shaken.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ericsson misses with an uppercut
and Stresemann counters with a stiff right hand.

Stresemann shoots in and bounces Ericsson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stresemann wants to pass the guard but Ericsson is keeping the position.
Ericsson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Stresemann has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Stresemann wants to control from the top but Ericsson keeps moving.
We've been hearing good reports from Stresemann's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Stresemann trying to control the position from guard on top but Ericsson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ericsson lands a front kick.
Stresemann smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Stresemann gets a takedown into half guard.
Stresemann passes to side control.
Ericsson on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Ericsson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Stresemann wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ericsson keeps working.

Ericsson trying his best to control but Stresemann has mounted him.
Stresemann controlling his opponent.
Stresemann looking to control but Ericsson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Stresemann working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Stresemann throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Stresemann lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Stresemann avoids the attempt from Ericsson to control.
Stresemann looking to ground and pound but Ericsson is blocking nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stresemann lands a big shot there that rocks Ericsson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Stresemann looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Stresemann thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Ericsson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Stresemann! Ericsson is hurt baaadly! Stresemann is firing away with more strikes - Ericsson is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Onizuka Stresemann!
Onizuka Stresemann took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'I'm not exactly surprised by the outcome of this fight; I'm sure you aren't, either.'.
