The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karlsson's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Karlsson duly obliges.

It looks like Pedro Souza has been cut.
Karlsson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Souza gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Karlsson lands a front kick.
Souza tries to clinch but Karlsson moves out of range.

Karlsson lands a left and a right that send Souza crashing to the mat, dazed. Karlsson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Souza is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Karlsson goes for a small jab and connects. Now Karlsson goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Souza stumbles back but Karlsson runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Souza to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Souza will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Axel Karlsson!
