Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Glen Starner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcin Sokol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Starner comes to the cage accompanied by Guano Apes - Open your eyes. Sokol has chosen DMX - X gon' give it to Ya as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sokol slaps away a takedown attempt from Starner, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Sokol defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Starner.
Sokol lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Starner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Sokol escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Starner gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Marcin Sokol dominated that round.

Starner throws a hook to the side of Sokol's head but Sokol sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Starner takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Sokol! Starner is out on his feet! Sokol rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Starner is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Starner is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
