Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Moses Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralph Martin Pacaldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Moses Slater!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ralph Martin Pacaldo!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacaldo lands a nice shot to the body.

Pacaldo has managed to clinch.
Slater lands with a right to the head.
Pacaldo blocks a body shot from Slater.
Pacaldo tries to circle away but Slater has him pinned against the cage.
Slater prevents Pacaldo from breaking the clinch.
Slater is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Pacaldo is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Slater is keeping busy.
Slater is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Pacaldo is defending well for now.

Slater breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Slater closes the distance and clinches.
Pacaldo takes an elbow to the temple.
Slater drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pacaldo gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Pacaldo wants to get back to striking at distance but Slater won't allow it.
Pacaldo tries to circle away but Slater has him pinned against the cage.

Slater has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Pacaldo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

A frustrated look appears on Pacaldo's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Pacaldo is trying to push Slater away but Slater has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Slater breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Slater moves into the clinch successfully.
Slater content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Slater keeps control of Pacaldo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Pacaldo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Slater's guard.
Slater really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Pacaldo is looking to stand up but Slater won't let him.

Slater tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Slater has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Slater has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Slater not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Slater is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Pacaldo moves into the clinch.
Pacaldo is trying to force a seperation but Slater has the dominant position.
Slater keeps control of Pacaldo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Slater gets control of Pacaldo's arms and successfully pulls guard. Slater will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Slater is on top in guard.

Slater connects with a couple of short punches.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pacaldo looking for subs off his back but Slater has passed one foot through into half guard.
Slater thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Pacaldo blocking the ground and pound attempt from Slater.
Pacaldo has a hand on Slater's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Slater takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Slater has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Pacaldo clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Pacaldo can't escape the position.

Slater will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Pacaldo trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Slater has the hooks in. Pacaldo is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Pacaldo tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Slater lands a big shot there that rocks Pacaldo but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Pacaldo is trying to reverse the position but instead Slater has taken his back - oops!

Moses Slater overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Slater controlling well, preventing Pacaldo from escaping the position.

Pacaldo tries to get to his feet, scrambling wildly. Slater sees the opportunity and transitions to an armbar that forces Pacaldo to tap. Impressive finish!
