Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Plouman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunnar Sigorsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Rocky Plouman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gunnar Sigorsson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plouman misses with a looping right.
An inside leg kick from Plouman misses.
Sigorsson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Sigorsson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Sigorsson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Plouman pinned against the cage. Plouman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Plouman tried to counter with a leg kick but Sigorsson avoided it.
Plouman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sigorsson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Plouman - the referee stops the clock and Sigorsson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Plouman. Sigorsson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sigorsson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Plouman sprawls well. Plouman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sigorsson gets slowly back to his feet.

Plouman throws a leg kick
and Sigorsson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sigorsson.
Sigorsson trying to control the position from guard on top but Plouman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sigorsson's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Sigorsson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Plouman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Plouman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sigorsson on the ground.
Sigorsson wants to control from the top but Plouman keeps moving.
Sigorsson is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Sigorsson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Plouman looking for a sweep. Not yet Plouman, not yet.
Sigorsson passes Plouman's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Sigorsson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Sigorsson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Plouman's head.
Sigorsson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Plouman has managed to free his arm - good work.
Sigorsson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Plouman is trying to maintain the position but Sigorsson is very close to passing his half guard.

Sigorsson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Plouman defends it well.
Still in half guard, Sigorsson seems content to control.
Sigorsson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Plouman doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sigorsson.
Sigorsson is looking for a kimura but Plouman is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sigorsson to get the leverage.
Plouman tries to get to full guard but Sigorsson has control of the leg.
Sigorsson is trying to control. Plouman wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sigorsson is looking for a kimura but Plouman is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sigorsson to get the leverage.
Sigorsson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Plouman trying to hold on to Sigorsson's head to control him but Sigorsson postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sigorsson maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Plouman could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Sigorsson has cracked it and Plouman is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Sigorsson!
