The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johansson misses with a low kick.
White has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Johansson is landing a low percentage of strikes.
A looping hook to the body misses from Johansson. White does a little dance to reset his feet.
Johansson moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromWhite.
White pulls out of a head kick attempt.
White ducks under a wild hook from Johansson.
Johansson looks to score with a jab to the body but White is just out of range.

Johansson avoids the body shot from White.
Johansson throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Johansson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Johansson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but White avoids it really well and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
White throws a leg kick which misses Johansson's front leg but catches the back leg as Johansson tries to avoid it.

White blocks the body kick.
Johansson thows a leg kick but White checks it
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
White gets cracked there but stands up to it.
White lands a jab.
Johansson connects with a solid leg kick.
An inside leg kick from Johansson misses.
White is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Johansson thumps White with a low kick.
Freddy White is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
White pulls out of a head kick attempt.
White tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Johansson was well out of range. Poor timing from White.
As White tries to get set, Johansson tries to push him back and clinch up but White manages to avoid the attempt.
Johansson misses with a body shot.
The fighters circling - Johansson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from White! But no joy.
White looks to throw the jab but Johansson is out of range.
Christian Johansson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Johansson throws out a loose jab but White uses good head movement to avoid it.
White throws a push kick but Johansson slaps the foot to one side.
Johansson changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Johansson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
White jabs at Johansson's body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Johansson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A little jabbing left from White on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
White lands a head kick. Johansson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

White uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Johansson.
Johansson throws a jab but it's blocked by White.
Johansson throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
White tries a quick counter leg kick but Johansson is wise to it.

White pounces like a tiger and cracks Johansson with a vicious hook! Johansson is down but not out! White follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

A relieved looking Freddy White thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
