The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown misses with a two punch combination.
Brown has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Death Valley Training Facility in the buildup to the fight.

Bill closes the distance and pushes Brown back into the cage.

Brown has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bill clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Brown has the hooks in. Bill is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brown thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Brown is throwing shots to the body but Bill manages to wriggle free. Brown pounces on him again and ends up in Bill's guard.
Brown has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Bill has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brown can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Brown decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Brown is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Bill fails with a takedown attempt.
A little feinted left hand from Brown on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Brown lands with a kick to the temple. Bill shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Sidearm Bill has been cut.
Bill shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Brown defends it nicely.
Bill dodges the punch combination from Brown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bill gets tackled into the cage by Brown. Brown maintains the clinch.
Brown is trying to maintain a safe position but Bill gets an underhook and turns Brown into the cage.

Bill has hold of one of Brown's legs. Brown is fighting the takedown attempt but Bill gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Brown has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bill off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Dave Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brown drops Bill with a beautiful combination! Bill stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Brown is looking for the KO!

Brown closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bill to the mat! Bill manages to get full guard.
Bill is still in real trouble! Can Brown finish him?

Bill has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Brown should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Bill has tightened it up now! Brown should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
