The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Grimes back to the cage. Palmer follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Decent striking displayed by Palmer there.
Palmer scores with a body shot.
Palmer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Palmer comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Palmer fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Palmer throws a series of punches but Grimes moves out of range.
Palmer closes the distance and lands a one-two.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Palmer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Grimes circles away quickly and effectively.
Grimes drops down looking for a counter takedown but Palmer sprawls and moves away.
A lazy left from Palmer finds it's target.
Grimes is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Palmer.

Palmer looks to land a combination but Grimes avoids it well.
Oh Grimes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Palmer misses with a wild combination.
Grimes walks straight into a right hand from Palmer - that's dropped him! Palmer jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Grimes from any more punishment! Grimes complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
