The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva wants to clinch.
Spilbergen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Horrible takedown attempt by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Spilbergen, which made it look bad.
Spilbergen slaps away a takedown attempt from Silva, before circling back to the center of the mat.
As Silva backs off Spilbergen throws a huge counter combo but Silva manages to avoid it all.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Spilbergen, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Spilbergen against the cage but Spilbergen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
