Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Micheal Marsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricardo Nunes!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunes missing with a left hand there. Marsh was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Nunes lands with a hook. Marsh tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.


It looks like Micheal Marsh has been cut.
Marsh gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Nunes fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Marsh, pushing him back against the cage.
Marsh tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Nunes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Nunes closes the distance and clinches.
Marsh doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Come on Nunes - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nunes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Nunes has closed the distance and engaged Marsh in a clinch.
Marsh tries to land knees in the clinch but Nunes avoids the damage to the body.
Nunes has Marsh pushed against the cage.
Nunes scores with an uppercut up the middle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Marsh wants to get back to striking at distance but Nunes won't allow it.
Marsh wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Marsh is trying to force a seperation but Nunes has the dominant position.
Marsh can't find room to land a body shot as Nunes controls the action.

Marsh breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nunes fails in his attempt to clinch.
Nunes tries to clinch up.
Marsh throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nunes's waist but Nunes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Marsh off to one side.
Marsh fails with a takedown attempt.
Nunes tries to bum rush Marsh with a series of wild strikes but Marsh uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Marsh changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nunes throws a series of punches but Marsh moves out of range.
Ricardo Nunes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Marsh closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Marsh stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Nice sprawl there from Nunes as Marsh shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Micheal Marsh. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nunes pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Marsh back to the cage. Nunes follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.


Marsh is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nunes has closed the distance and engaged Marsh in a clinch.
Oh Marsh is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Nunes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Marsh seems to have got his legs back now.
Marsh misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nunes steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Marsh.
Ricardo Nunes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nunes tries to clinch but Marsh is having none of it.
Nunes should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Marsh fails with the takedown.
Marsh is breathing heavily.
Nunes wants to clinch up but Marsh keeps it at a distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nunes uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Marsh has time to react.
Marsh avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nunes catches Marsh with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Marsh forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
