Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby OLeary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Strong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OLeary throws a series of punches but Strong moves out of range.

Strong looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
OLeary wants to sweep but no luck.
OLeary is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
OLeary wants to control but Strong passes easily into half guard.
Strong prevents OLeary from standing back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Strong stands up out of the half guard.
OLeary gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

so Strong counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

OLeary is trying to keep Strong in close.
Strong is pushing down on OLeary's leg trying to pass to half guard. OLeary is fighting to maintain full guard but Strong has managed to sneak the leg through.
OLeary won't allow Strong to pass to mount.

Strong is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and OLeary defends it well.

Strong seems to be working for a kimura but OLeary defends the submission attempt.
OLeary wants to stand back up but Strong manages to pass into side control.

OLeary sneaks out the side door and pushes Strong away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Strong shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

OLeary wants to get back to his feet but Strong is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Strong wants to lay and pray for a moment but OLeary keeps working.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
OLeary is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Strong has just dragged him back down to the mat.

OLeary tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

OLeary closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - OLeary lands in his opponent's guard.

Strong pushes OLeary off and gets back to his feet.

OLeary tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Strong shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

OLeary wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Strong manages to pass to side control.

Mark Strong has got the better of the ground game so far.
OLeary looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
OLeary is trying to get back to his feet but Strong has full control of the position and if anything, OLeary has just worked his way into a worse spot.
