Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lukacz Belmont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Musta Surma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belmont kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is N.W.A - Appetite For Destruction. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belmont cracks Surma with an open hand slap.

It looks like Musta Surma has been cut.
An inside leg kick lands from Belmont.

Surma rushes Belmont and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Surma tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Surma takes a shot to the head.
Belmont blocks the elbow strike.
Surma looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Surma told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Surma lands an elbow that stopped Belmont in his tracks for a moment.
Belmont misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Belmont's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Surma uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Belmont.
A little jabbing left from Surma on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

It looked like Belmont wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Surma fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Belmont manages to avoid it.

Belmont lands a big uppercut and Surma crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Surma looks OK. Belmont waves Surma back to his feet!

That has opened up Musta Surma's cut even more.

Belmont pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Surma takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Surma counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Belmont thinking.
Surma tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Belmont counters with a left to the body.

and Belmont counters with a low kick, right behind Surma 's knee.

Surma gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Belmont lands with a short punch from the clinch.

A nice right hand lands inside from Belmont.
Belmont lands a hook to the side of the head.
Surma tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Surma goes for a takedown attempt but Belmont pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Surma takes a swing at Belmont's ribcage but misses.

and Belmont counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Belmont throws a body shot but no joy.

Belmont swings for the body but Surma moves out of range.

Belmont feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Surma's calf.

Belmont looks to score with a jab to the body but Surma is just out of range.
Surma tries to counter by closing the distance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Surma misses with a double jab
and Belmont counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Surma thinking.
Belmont is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Surma tries for a takedown but Belmont sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Belmont swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Surma tries to clinch up.
An inside leg kick lands from Belmont.
Belmont keeps Surma at a distance using the push kick.
Surma's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Belmont connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Surma scrambles back to his feet.

The cut above Musta Surma's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Belmont lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Belmont drops Surma with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Surma looks back up at him and smiles so Belmont waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Surma misses the shot to the body.
Belmont lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Surma walks straight into a right hand from Belmont - that's dropped him! Belmont jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Surma from any more punishment! Surma complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Lukacz Belmont!
