Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shit Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lopez comes to the cage accompanied by Vamos. Face has chosen Blue clear sky as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lopez wants it to stay on the feet.
Miguel Lopez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lopez works over Face's head and body with a nice combination.
Face shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lopez defends it nicely.

Face changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lopez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Face thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Face closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Lopez sneaks out the side door and pushes Face away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Face shoots for a double leg takedown but Lopez sprawls well. He's pushed Face's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Miguel Lopez will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lopez, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
