Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mauler Jackman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Robert Cierzniak!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cierzniak throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jackman is looking to counter the offense by Cierzniak and move into the clinch.
Cierzniak's coach down at MMA Sanok Training Center was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Cierzniak's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Cierzniak fails in his attempt to clinch.

Jackman tries to counter by clinching up but Cierzniak breaks away and moves out of range.
Jackman lands with a nice body punch.
Cierzniak throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Cierzniak looks to land a combination but Jackman avoids it well.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Jackman.
Cierzniak tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jackman manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
We've been hearing reports that Jackman has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Cierzniak with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jackman to score with a decent uppercut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Jackman gets tackled into the cage by Cierzniak. Cierzniak maintains the clinch.

Cierzniak tries to circle away but Jackman has him pinned against the cage.
Cierzniak is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackman finish him?
Jackman lands a big right hand that drops Cierzniak! The killer instinct kicks in and Jackman finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Jackman!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mauler Jackman!
During a confident post fight interview, Mauler Jackman thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
