Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Samuli Soininen!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Soininen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Soininen controls the position from side control.
Soininen tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Acosta takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Soininen is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Acosta knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Acosta is letting Soininen control him for a moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Soininen advances to mount.
Soininen lands a big shot there that rocks Acosta but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Acosta tries to lock up and control but Soininen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Acosta is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Soininen locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Acosta is forced to tap!
