Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sean Juan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lamont Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hawkins's choice of entrance music: Wu-Tang Clan - C.R.E.A.M. Lamont Hawkins told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkins throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Juan pushes Hawkins away with a front kick.
Juan tries to score with a low kick but Hawkins moves his leg out of the way.
Good leg kick by Hawkins there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Juan slips a jab from Hawkins.

Hawkins clinches.
Juan misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hawkins.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Hawkins.
Hawkins misses with a hook from the clinch.
Juan unloads a knee to the mid-section.
With the fighters up against the cage, Juan throws an elbow but misses.
Hawkins working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Hawkins lands with a short shot to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Juan tries to throw a body punch but Hawkins avoids it by throwing Juan back against the cage.

Juan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Juan cracks a nice hook into Hawkins's ribs.
Hawkins has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hawkins misses the shot to the body.
Juan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Juan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hawkins defends well and Juan ends up having to push Hawkins into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Juan throws an overhand right that lands on Hawkins's shoulder, as Hawkins tries to avoid the shot.
Hawkins throws out a loose jab but Juan uses good head movement to avoid it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Hawkins counters with a head kick that drops Juan to the mat! Juan scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Hawkins connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Juan out cold! This one is over in a flash!

A relieved looking Lamont Hawkins thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
