The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Guy tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Conner manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Guy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Guy takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Guy moves to clinch but Conner breaks away
and Conner cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The fight stays on the outside here - Guy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Guy tries to close the distance and clinch but Conner swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Conner swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Guy wants to clinch up but Conner keeps it at a distance.
Guy tries to bum rush Conner with a series of wild strikes but Conner uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Conner cracks Guy with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Conner engages and cracks Guy with a massive lead left hook - Guy tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Conner is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
