Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Christian Derksen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Indigo Starseed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Starseed is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bass Nectar- Take You Down. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starseed drops his hands momentarily and Derksen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Starseed lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Derksen circles away quickly and effectively.
Starseed throws a solid leg kick but Derksen takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Starseed.
Starseed moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Derksen doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Derksen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Starseed. That did some damage!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Starseed has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Starseed wants to take a breather but Derksen is having none of it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Our winner, Christian Derksen, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
In defeat, Indigo Starseed stepped up to the mic, saying 'Dude, Garfield was a lot tougher than the comic strip version haha... No but seriosuly best 2-3? You owe me another chance to put in a real show for the fans! Good fight man! I'll be back! Better and stronger! Broken analog Pride never quits!'.
