The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasara throws a series of strikes that have Ysengrin backpedaling.

It looks like Artur Ysengrin has been cut.
A nice leg kick lands there from Ysengrin.
Ysengrin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Vasara avoids a kick to the body.
Ysengrin pivots, looking for a leg kick but Vasara is out of range and Ysengrin settles back down.
Ysengrin looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Vasara throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ysengrin dips to his left and cracks Vasara with an uppercut!
Ysengrin circles away from the clinch attempt.

Vasara throws a series of punches but Ysengrin moves out of range.

Ysengrin has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vasara misses with a leg kick
and Ysengrin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Vasara tries to close the distance and clinch but Ysengrin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ysengrin takes a swing at Vasara's ribcage but misses.
Vasara turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ysengrin has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

and Ysengrin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Ysengrin throws a right hand that Vasara ducks under and follows up with a left that Vasara also avoids with ease.
It looked like Vasara was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Vasara doesn't manage to clinch there - Ysengrin circles away.
Ysengrin tries to bum rush Vasara with a series of wild strikes but Vasara uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Vasara tries to clinch but Ysengrin moves out of range.
Vasara will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Ysengrin. Vasara shrugs it off though.
Ysengrin fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Vasara on the side of the head.
A slapping leg kick lands for Ysengrin.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Ysengrin.
Vasara gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ysengrin.
Vasara lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ysengrin circles away quickly and effectively.
Ysengrin is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Vasara with a body shot.
and Ysengrin counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Vasara! He's just covering up as Ysengrin starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
