The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fury bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Fury pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
An attempted straight right counter from Yui misses the target.
Fury scores with the left hand. Yui knows he should have avoided that one.
Fury connects with a crisp jab.
Yui takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Yui is looking to slow Fury down with leg kicks.
Fury avoids the head kick by Yui.
Fury slips a jab from Yui.
Kung Fury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fury scores with a punch to the head.
Fury moves into the clinch successfully.
Fury throws an elbow but it misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fury gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Fury misses with a hook to the ribs.
Yui swings wildly with an uppercut but Fury uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fury is working Yui over against the ropes.
Yui tries to work over Fury's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Fury creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Yui crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5,6... it doesn't look like he's going to make it! Yui face plants back to the mat and the referee calls off the fight! Fury takes it with a brutal technical knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Kung Fury!
A very excited looking Kung Fury rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
