The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryndin gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ryndin working Padilla over with knees to the body.
Padilla jumps guard and drags Ryndin to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Ryndin gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Ryndin drives through and clinches with Padilla against the cage.
Ryndin effectively controlling the action here.
Ryndin lands with a short punch from the clinch.
It looks like Valentin Padilla has been cut.

Padilla wants to get back to striking at distance but Ryndin won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Padilla could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ryndin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Oh Padilla is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Padilla walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Padilla limp body while Ryndin jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Draco Ryndin!
Draco Ryndin bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
