Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kanchai Suya!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Norman Parke!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parke misses with a hook. Suya ducked under it nicely.
Suya is looking to counter the offense by Parke and move into the clinch.
Parke lands with an uppercut that bounces Suya off the cage and back into range.
Suya moves out of range of the strikes.
Parke swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Suya swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Norman Parke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Suya fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Parke has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

It looked like Suya wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We've been informed that Parke has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
